St Anne’s is the home of choice for the brightest and most ambitious students, including those from underrepresented groups.
St Anne’s is one of Oxford’s largest colleges, with over 800 students. Our Fellows’ world leading research ranges across the arts, humanities, social sciences, mathematics, and physical, life and medical sciences.
Our diverse, inclusive community extends around the globe through our alumnae, who build on their experiences here to change the world for the better.
Situated within 5 acres of tranquil leafy grounds, St Anne’s enjoys a unique atmosphere in which to hold any conference, dinner or special event.
St Anne’s College wants to ensure that the brightest and most ambitious students from all backgrounds can access an Oxford education and thrive here.
St Anne’s College Outreach Team works with state schools across our link regions (Hillingdon and Southwark in London, and the North East of England) and beyond to provide workshops and sessions for students in Key Stage 2-5, their families and their teachers.
Find out more about our outreach work through our 2024-25 Impact Report.
Applying for Higher Education, and the University of Oxford in particular, can be a confusing process. Through our workshops and activities, we aim to demystify the application process, as well as support young people in choosing subjects and gaining skills that tie in with their own academic strengths and interests.
St Anne’s College works with state schools in our link regions of Hillingdon and Southwark in London and in the North East of England – these can take the form of workshops in school, online session, or visits to Oxford. We can also offer some limited residential visits to the College.
We often support schools in our link regions (Hillingdon and Southwark in London, and the North East of England) with Year 11 Options Evenings or Sixth Form Open Evenings both online and in person. Schools may also arrange for the outreach team to deliver a parent/carer talk online or in person.

The University’s next Open Days are Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd July.
The Open Days are a great way to visit St Anne’s and to find out more about our forward looking, diverse and down-to-earth community.
For each event, we have a busy timetable, typically including a demonstration interview, tours led by current students throughout the day, and a chance for prospective students to meet the tutors whilst their parents, carers, and teachers can attend a talk with our Principal.

Each year we get in touch with more and more schools, teachers, and students, and in the year 2023-24 we have proudly continued our role as one of Oxford's most active Outreach Teams.
We aim not only to work with as many schools and students as we can, but to keep in sustained contact with them: to support students throughout their studies and applications, and allow teachers to help many generations of students through the years.
