St Anne’s Supernumerary Fellow, Prof. Charlotte Deane, elected Fellow of the Royal Society

We’re very proud to share the news that St Anne’s Fellow, Professor Charlotte Deane, has been made a Fellow of the Royal Society.

Election to the Fellowship is one of the highest honours in the scientific world, awarded to individuals who have made impactful contributions to knowledge. New Fellows join the ranks of Stephen Hawking, Isaac Newton, Charles Darwin, Albert Einstein, Lise Meitner, Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar and Dorothy Hodgkin.

Professor Deane said: ‘I really appreciate this honour. I know that this would never have happened without the brilliant and inspiring students, postdocs, and colleagues who I have worked with, and I am very grateful to them.’
