Many congratulations to St Anne’s Fellow Professor Patrick McGuinness, who has been made Officier dans l’Ordre des Palmes académiques by the French government and the French minister for Education, Elisabeth Borne. The honour was awarded for services to French culture ‘as professor of French and Comparative Literature, as poet, translator and writer’.
