Despoina Vasilaki took the BCL and MPhil in Law at Brasenose College, Oxford, before commencing a DPhil in Law at Mansfield College. She was previously Convenor of the Health Law module at Queen Mary University of London and has given tutorials in Contract and Tort Law. Her research lies in the fields of family law and legal theory, focusing on parenthood, identity and gender. Within the Faculty, she has convened the Medical and Family Law Discussion Group.
