For the following awards there is no separate application process. Graduate applicants should apply through the University for their graduate course in the normal way and will automatically be considered if eligible.
If you are awarded one of our scholarships and you have already been offered a place at another college you will be required to move your application to St Anne’s in order to take up the award.
Please note that some of these scholarships will not be available to award every year.

Applicants are from a developing nation and enrolled/enrolling on one of the School of Geography and the Environment’s five MSc courses.

St Anne’s Uehiro Future Generations Scholarship
One new scholarship will be offered to a DPhil student in Humanities each year in the following order: Linguistics (for entry in 2026), Classics, Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, History, English, Fine Art, Medieval and Modern Languages, Music.
The duration of each scholarship is 3 years.
There is no separate application form for the scholarship as all eligible graduate applicants made by the January deadline will be automatically considered.

Eligible graduate members of St Anne’s who are doctoral students will receive an email from the Tutor for Graduates in Hilary Term inviting applications for college scholarships.
Current graduate members of St Anne’s who are doctoral students going into their second, third or fourth year of graduate study in Michaelmas Term of the first year they hold the scholarship. Graduate Entry medics in their third or fourth year, and any Clinical medics in years four to six of A100 Medicine.
Current graduate members of any Oxford college who are doctoral students going into their second, third or fourth year of graduate study in Michaelmas Term of the first year they hold the scholarship.

One year in the first instance. Renewed for a further year (unless started in year 4) if progress is satisfactory
