Situated within 5 acres of tranquil leafy grounds, St Anne’s enjoys a unique atmosphere in which to hold any conference, dinner or special event.
St Anne’s alumna Jo Delahunty KC has written a book, We Set The Bar, to be published later this month.
In her book, she rails against the continued discrimination, sexual harassment and damaging workplace practices that can make entry and success harder, particularly for women and those from ethnic minority backgrounds. Her book — a “love letter to the Bar” — aims to provide a blueprint for a fairer, more “inclusive, diverse, egalitarian and healthy profession”.
The publication flows from a series of lectures delivered for Gresham College, where she was a professor of law between 2016 and 2020. In it, Delahunty reveals that — in common with many female barristers — she suffered sexual harassment without making a formal complaint.
Congratulations to Jo! You can read more in this excellent profile in The Times.
