Many thanks to everyone who organised and attended this year’s Staff Appreciation Day on 30th August! On a school sports day theme, there were six traditional games (bean bags and hoops, rolling hoops, dribble footie, egg and spoon, three legged race and tug of war). Six teams of eight took part, representing members of staff from all departments.
All who took part were rewarded with a sweetie bag, while members of the winning team each took home a medal and a bottle of prosecco. Well done to the Kitchen team (Ben, Rizal, Mario, Anthony, Max, David, Harvey and Norm)!
Once the competitive part of the day was over, staff enjoyed barbecue food and drinks and an array of fete activities, including tombola, hook-a-duck, face-painting and lawn games. Families were welcomed to this portion of the day.
Everyone had a fantastic time — the only issue now being that we need to think of something equally enjoyable for next year’s Staff Appreciation Day!
